Position : Supply Chain Director

Work Hours (Client) : 9am - 5pm EST (must be amenable to shifting schedules; with room for flexibility)

Pay Range : $3000 - $4000 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Location of Search : Latin America, South Africa

Work Location : REMOTE

Now, we’re looking for a Global Supply Chain Senior Manager to lead our end-to-end global supply chain operations. If you're a seasoned leader with a track record of strategic thinking, cross-border execution, and operational optimization — we want to meet you.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

In this role, you will drive operational excellence across the entire global supply chain. You’ll lead strategic initiatives, coach a high-performing team, and build scalable systems to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of ingredients from suppliers to customers. This is a high-impact leadership position that contributes directly to the company's performance, resilience, and growth.

 
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive global supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s broader business goals. 
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and technology upgrades to drive performance across logistics, export-import, demand planning, warehousing, and distribution. 
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and development to the global supply chain team to meet departmental KPIs and support company growth. 
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with global regulations and industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment, efficiency, and risk mitigation. 
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness, speed, and quality of supply chain operations. 
  • Lead initiatives to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand and supply planning, customer service, and returns management. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and risks to ensure the company’s supply chain remains future-ready and competitive. 
  • Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and team engagement.
 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)

Experience: 5+ years of related experience 

Industry: Food Industry or Pharmaceutical (or any industries governed by strict regulations and compliance)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in global supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role 
  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics, inventory, procurement, and demand planning 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience leveraging data to drive improvements 
  • Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Track record of successfully leading teams, managing change, and achieving results
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and the ability to influence across all levels of an organization 
  • Comfortable navigating cross-functional and cross-cultural environments in a fully remote setting 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the food ingredients or consumer goods industry 
  • Understanding of international regulatory compliance and quality standards 
  • Skilled in leading remote, global teams
