Location - Bricktown, NJ

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns. The RN collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based nursing interventions throughout the continuum of care.

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care activities

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individual patient needs

• Assess patients to identify care priorities using clinical judgment and established frameworks

• Develop, coordinate, and update individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments

• Initiate assessments based on patient conditions, physician diagnoses, and functional health needs

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care assignments

• Document care in accordance with standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities

• Advocate for and support evidence-based nursing practices and care innovations

• Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Minimum 3+ years of recent Mother Baby / Postpartum nursing experience

• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills

• Ability to manage care for postpartum patients and newborns in an acute care setting

Required:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required:

• BLS (AHA)

• NRP

• Active New Jersey RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license
