We are a respected and well-established skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Chicago, committed to providing high-quality care and improving the lives of our residents. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Marketing Director (External Marketer) to help us expand our reach and maintain strong occupancy levels through strategic marketing and relationship-building efforts.

Position Summary:
The Marketing Director will serve as the external face of our facility, responsible for driving census growth by cultivating and maintaining strong referral relationships with hospitals, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals throughout the Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase referrals and admissions.
  • Establish and maintain strong, consistent relationships with discharge planners, hospital case managers, social workers, and community partners.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to hospitals and referral sources.
  • Identify new referral opportunities and create targeted outreach plans.
  • Monitor and report on referral trends, admissions data, and census performance.
  • Represent the facility at community and healthcare-related events.
  • Collaborate closely with the admissions and leadership teams to ensure a seamless referral and admission process.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of census growth in a skilled nursing facility is required.
  • Established network and strong working relationships with hospital case managers and discharge planners in the Chicago market.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare marketing or external business development experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
