A Private Audiology Practice in NYC, NY is seeking to hire an experienced Healthcare Front Office Professional for our busy, well-established office.

We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss requires evaluation, maintenance and follow-up care.

Schedule/ location: Hours are Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM or 9AM – 5PM (based upon patients appointments).

What you will do :

• Greet patients professionally face-to-face as well as on the phone.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones.
• Run the front office efficiently and doctor’s schedule.
• Check patients in and out, collecting payment as needed.
• Other administrative duties as needed.

What you will need:

• Great computer skills, Quick Books is a plus.
• Prior Medical office experience required.
• Organizational skills a must.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with professionalism and empathy.
• A team player, willing to go above and beyond. Self – motivated, take initiative.
• Great patient care; a positive attitude.
• Ability to multi-task and handle a busy environment.
• Managing office reconciliation and paying bills as needed.
