Job Description

Drive the future of ETF innovation and governance as a Vice President, leading strategic initiatives and shaping the operating model at the heart of our Asset Management organization.

As an ETF Platform Management Vice President within the Asset Management organization you will be responsible for overseeing and developing the exchange traded fund operating model. In this role you will sponsor and manage strategic initiatives while proactively responding to industry and regulatory changes. As a member of the team, you will manage the exchange traded fund governance process while identifying and mitigating risks. You will oversees the ETF creation / redemption process, supports new fund launches and supports ETF Board administration. In this role you will work very closely with members across the Asset Management organization in an effort to service our ETF funds.

Job responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the end-to-end operating model for U.S. and Canadian ETF business, covering Portfolio Management, Product Administration, Fund Accounting, Order Taking, Distribution, and Stock Exchanges
  • Support portfolio management and investment teams in ETF-specific roles, including creation/redemption activities and leveraging custom baskets for tax-efficient investment decisions
  • Create and maintain primary market policies and procedures for fund order taking, including creation and redemption processes
  • Maintain key ETF documentation such as Authorized Participant Handbook, Prospectus disclosures, and ETF-specific agreements
  • Project manage initiatives to enhance portfolio management and operating models, supporting new ETF types during product development
  • Lead strategic projects to ensure compliance with regulatory changes, industry best practices, and technology enhancements, including vendor selection for ETF services
  • Oversee governance of the ETF complex, monitor capital gain distributions, manage tax efficiency, and prepare/present reports to management and the Board of Trustees

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10 years of financial services experience, with a strong focus on Exchange Traded Funds
  • Proven success in project, product, business management, or front office/client service roles
  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Ability to learn and navigate complex systems to design efficient operating models
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with a track record of driving results under pressure and managing competing priorities
