Salary: $65,000 - 77,000 per year Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience in robotics, software engineering, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Familiarity with ROS2
- Strong grasp of software fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OOP, networking)
- Experience in a Linux environment
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities
- Capacity to learn rapidly and function well in a team-oriented setting
- Contributions to open-source robotics projects or a GitHub portfolio (preferred)
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim), multi-threaded or real-time systems, and computer vision (OpenCV) (preferred)
Responsibilities: - Develop and sustain robotics software using C++ and Python
- Design and implement robotic behaviors utilizing ROS2
- Integrate various sensors, actuators, and hardware interfaces
- Assist with motion control, perception pipelines, and state machines
- Debug and rectify software issues on actual robots and simulators
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Engage in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams
- Support testing, validation, and deployment of robotic systems
