The Converse Home is an Assisted Living Community located in downtown Burlington. Established in 1886 as a private, non-profit organization, we are well known for our warm, welcoming, and home-like atmosphere. Our mission has remained steadfast throughout the years… to provide older persons with a gracious home along with high-quality services. 

Please consider applying if you are looking for a rewarding position as a receptionist, working with wonderful residents and staff. We are currently hiring a part-time receptionist to cover every other Saturday and Sunday, 8-3 pm.

Job Overview:

• The receptionist greets visitors, answers telephones, assists residents, and provides clerical support as requested.
• We are looking for someone with the desire to work with the elderly and interact with residents in a courteous and respectful way.
• Someone who is dependable can work well with others and functions effectively as part of a team.

The Converse Home is a private nonprofit senior community. Our assisted living and memory care community is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the southern end of Burlington. We have beautifully landscaped grounds that include large flower and vegetable gardens, a gazebo and many areas for our residents to enjoy being outside.
