Job Description

The Volunteer Coordinator will assist the Client Services Director of the Columbia Pregnancy Center with volunteer recruitment and training, onsite classes, and community outreach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Volunteer Recruitment
• Recruit, select and interview potential volunteers.
• Provide volunteer in-service training.
• Develop and maintain a monthly schedule of client advocates.

• Provide training for all volunteer positions within the organization.
• Execute training procedures to educate and enforce policy and procedures
• Develop and maintain a monthly schedule of volunteers.

• Maintain and schedule onsite classes for the center calendar.
• Provide administrative support to all center classes.

• Provide representation at local churches, conferences and networking opportunities.
• Coordinate opportunities for local churches to recruit volunteers.

• Bachelor's degree in a helping field or related equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual preferred.
• Prior public speaking and training experience.
• Attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience working for a nonprofit organization or active in the prolife community.
