Job Description

Tansky Used Cars is looking for a new manager. A minimum of FIVE years dealership experience in used car sales is REQUIRED. This is a great opportunity with organizational focus and dedication from our leadership team. Our used car business has a strong foundation with room for growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Appraise all Trades, Maintain Used Car Inventory.
  • Work with and supervise Sales Consultants to ensure individual and department sales goals and quotas are met.
  • Maintain Online Inventory to make sure our vehicles are advertised aggressively!
  • Must be proficient with V-Auto, automotive CRM and DMS tools, third-party lead providers.
  • Work directly with our sales team and customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process.
  • Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network.
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing sales.
  • Desk deals for sales professionals and take T.O.'s to maximize deal potential.
  • Work with wholesales to purchase vehicles for the inventory from auction, off-lease returns & inter-company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Five years of previous experience in Automotive Pre-Owned Sales and two years as Manager/Director preferred, vehicle acquisitions, vehicle appraisals, merchandising, managing the vehicle reconditioning process, managing inventory, and retailing used cars.
  • Experience and knowledge of finance operations, knowledge of bank programs and ability to create excellent lender relationships are important for this position.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Previous experience with high-volume and producing high units per month is preferred.
  • Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organization and follow-up skills.
  • Experience and desire to work with technology.
  • Valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
