Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Night Shift

Schedule: Full-Time, 36 Hours/Week
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts, Monday Friday
Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Care team on the night shift. This role is essential in delivering high-quality respiratory care to critically ill patients in the NICU, PICU, and other care units. The ideal candidate brings advanced clinical expertise, strong critical thinking skills, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:Assess patients and develop individualized respiratory care plans based on diagnosis and clinical presentation
Implement and monitor treatment plans, including management of ventilators and other advanced modalities
Record and communicate patient condition, treatment responses, and progress
Perform advanced respiratory procedures and administer respiratory medications
Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans as necessary based on outcomes
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and available community resources
Actively participate in emergency response, including code and resuscitation events
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Experience in NICU and PICU settings is required
Current credentials in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
Strong understanding of respiratory pathophysiology and advanced respiratory modalities
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, multidisciplinary environments
