Spark Scala to read, collate, join, then move to the existing Java core engine for calculation, which then spits it out, target is an Oracle Database $65-75/hr w2 _We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ **Responsibilities:** **Key Responsibilities:** + Use Spark and Scala to process and transform data for performance calculations. + Collaborate with the team to ensure data is processed efficiently and accurately. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and business logic. + Work with Snowflake and Oracle databases for data storage and retrieval. + Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning. **Experience Requirements:** 10+ years of Data Engineering ETL experience. 4+ years of advanced AWS experience with services such as EMR, EC2, S3, 2+ years of hands on Scala. Must have Snowflake, Spark, Scala. Ability to read java. Oracle is good to have but strong SQL is a must. Need to know Spark. All of this is on AWS EMR. Control m is scheduler nice to have or some sort of scheduler. Agile environment, 2 week sprints. **Education Requirements:** BA in Technology or related field. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
