Title: School Social Worker
Location: Norton Shores, MI
Pay Range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time

Our charter school client is seeking a passionate School Social Worker to support students' social, emotional, and academic success in a Montessori-inspired, environmentally focused school setting. This is a full-time, onsite position in Norton Shores, MI .
Conduct assessments to identify student needs
Provide individual and group counseling
Develop and implement student support strategies
Participate in IEP and child study team meetings
Refer students/families to community services and follow up
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Maintain accurate and confidential student records
Promote student conflict resolution and emotional regulation
Provide staff training and consult on student behavior
Uphold NASW Code of Ethics and school policies
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
Michigan SSW certification (310) or temporary approval
School-based experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Comfort working in outdoor/nature-based education settings is a plus
