URBAN NIRVANA is a fun, local, female-owned company of Spas and Salons that started in Charleston in 2000. Since then, we have branched out to have locations all over the state of South Carolina in Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville. Primary Objective of the Position:

As a Salon Manager, you set the tone for guest experience. You and your team’s energy plays an integral part in delivering exceptional guest care whether the guest is here for a spa or salon experience or even browse our retail boutiques. Urban Nirvana is looking for an exceptional leader who knows how to lead the day and a team in a fast-paced environment. Time management, organizational skills and attention to detail are also a must.

Duties:

• Responsible for the day-to-day salon operations at the location level.
• Keep track of inventories and ordering supplies.
• Demonstrate a professional and dependable attitude at all times.
• Customer service and goal-oriented mindset.
• Organize and supervise team communication and team member schedules.
• Ensure the team members are informed of company policies & procedures, incentive plans & goals, coaching to help facilitate staff reaching goals and as well as the business’ financial goals.
• Responds to and resolves customer concerns and complaints with grace and in a timely manner.
• Monitor schedules, while adjusting as necessary to cover team member call-outs, or shortages, and adjust staff on hand as business dictates to manage payroll.
• Work with managers across the business to reach the company-wide financial goals as well as achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and staff retention.

• Management Experience: At least one year in a leadership role.
