Job Description

Roofing Estimator/Project Manager

· Must be able to estimate project and project manage until completion of project. The position will require both.

· Must have ample commercial/flat roofing experience - the base salary will depend on experience

· The position will require residential estimating also, however that can be taught if needed. 

· The position will require working in office M-F. Office is in West Palm Beach Fl

Estimating: 

· Must be presentable to customers

· Must be familiar with the Edge estimating software

· Must be capable of going on roof to obtain everything necessary to prepare an estimate 

· Must have experience with modified bitumen and TPO

· Must be able to secure competitive pricing from all vendors and subcontractors

· Must be familiar with south Florida building codes

Project Management:

· Must be able to prepare submittal packages 

· Must be able to create shop drawings needed for submittal packages

· Must be able to prepare purchase orders

· Must be able to attend pre-construction meetings

· Must be able to handoff a fully prepared job folder to field operations manager

· Must be able to prepare a job cost analysis comparing estimate to actual cost of construction upon completion of project

Miscellaneous

· A company vehicle will be provided

· Position will come with 1 week of PTO for the first year, and 2 weeks the following years

· Must be local

· Must have clean driving record
