Job Summary

We’re looking for imaginative and tech-savvy Web & Graphic Designers who embrace both traditional and modern tools, including AI-enhanced workflows to produce exceptional designs. If you have an eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for using design to solve actual business problems, you’ll thrive at Deer Designer.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design a wide range of high-quality deliverables, including:

1. Branding (logos, style guides, visual identity)
2. Print (flyers, business cards, packaging, book covers)
3. Digital (web pages, UI elements, email graphics, social media assets)
4. Ads (display banners, lead magnets, promos)
5. Presentations and infographics

• Use and integrate AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, Freepik AI, or similar, to speed up ideation and improve creative output.
• Collaborate with fellow designers, Squad Leads, and Quality Analysts to deliver consistent, on-brand designs.
• Interpret client briefs with clarity and professionalism, handling vague input and turning it into strategic creative output.
• Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and AI developments to enhance our service.
• Manage your time efficiently across multiple design requests daily, with consistent quality and creativity.

Requirements

What You Must Have

• Proven experience (1+ years) in web and graphic design, ideally in a remote agency or client-facing setup.
• Advanced English communication skills (writing and reading), B2 level or higher.
• A strong portfolio that showcases versatility, originality, and attention to detail across print and digital media.
• Proficiency in:

1. Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
2. Figma, including mastery of Auto Layout
3. Canva
4. Bonus : AI design tools (ChatGPT, MidJourney, Canva AI, Freepik AI, etc.)

• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
• A reliable computer setup:

1. Minimum: Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM
2. Plus, a backup machine

• High-speed, stable internet (50 Mbps+) with a backup plan in place.
• A helpful, open-minded, and ego-free attitude toward design feedback.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote team environment.
• Willingness to undergo and pass 1 week of Bootcamp (paid trial work) before being officially hired.

What We Offer

• Set-Up and Location: Must be locally based in the Philippines , 100% permanent remote work, from anywhere you’re happiest and most productive – co-working space, beach, wherever you’d like as long as you have a laptop and good internet connection
• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8h/day, 1pm to 10pm PH time, with core hours being 6pm to 10pm (PH time).
• Designer Referral : Php 15,000 for each web/graphic designer you refer that joins and stays with us.
• Paid Time-Off : 15 days of paid leave + 10 unpaid days + 2 sick days paid (after 6 months of tenure).
