Stellaris Digital Systems builds guest facing products to improve the digital guest experience and increase revenue. Providing the industry with innovative technology to analyse guest experience feedback, improve communications, manage requests and a lot more. Combines two scopes: digital dining solution to help hoteliers drive F&B revenue and improve guest experience for hotels of any size and the mobile-first check-in, checkout, and pay solution designed to reduce wait and improve guest experience for hotels of any size.

Job Description

How We Work:

• Employees up to 50 km from the office (Katowice): 4 times a month
• Employees from 50 to 100 km from the office: 2 times a month
• Employees over 100 km: fully remote work

• AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, ELB, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch) 
• Kubernetes, Docker 
• CI/CD (e.g. GitLab/Jenkins) 
• Terraform, Helm 
• Bash 
• Linux 
• NET, Java, PHP, React 
• AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Developing and maintaining infrastructure using infrastructure as code approach 
• Using CI/CD tools and scripts to create automatic application deployments for microservices 
• Helping developers in daily activities related to tools maintenance and AWS/Kubernetes/ECS operations 
• Working in collaborative and iterative software development process with agile teams 

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year experience in similar position and minimum 5 years of experience in IT industry 
• Good experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch) 
• Experience with Kubernetes/AWS ECS and Docker 
• Experience with CI/CD tools 
• Experience in implementing IaC using Terraform 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required 
• Proactive attitude and continuous improvement 

Nice to have: 

• Experience with HA systems 
• Experience with AWS networking and security 
• Experience with shell scripting (e.g. bash) 
• Experience with Linux server administration 
• Understanding of relational databases (tools and monitoring)
