Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU/Recovery Room to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in our state-of-the-art outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care to patients in the PACU/recovery room following surgical or procedural interventions.
Monitor patients' vital signs, airway, pain levels, and overall stability during the immediate recovery phase.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and anesthesia providers.
Provide emotional support, education, and reassurance to patients and their families.
Accurately document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition or emergencies.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and fellow nurses to ensure seamless care and positive outcomes.
Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance standards within the surgery center.

Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana (required).
Minimum of 1–2 years of PACU, ICU, or critical care nursing experience strongly preferred.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player with a positive, professional attitude.
