Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU/Recovery Room to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in our state-of-the-art outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care to patients in the PACU/recovery room following surgical or procedural interventions.

• Monitor patients' vital signs, airway, pain levels, and overall stability during the immediate recovery phase.

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and anesthesia providers.

• Provide emotional support, education, and reassurance to patients and their families.

• Accurately document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition or emergencies.

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and fellow nurses to ensure seamless care and positive outcomes.

• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance standards within the surgery center.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana (required).

• Minimum of 1–2 years of PACU, ICU, or critical care nursing experience strongly preferred.

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player with a positive, professional attitude.

• Passion for providing exceptional patient care in a supportive, outpatient environment.
