Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING a Quality Assurance Technician-Plastics Fabrication

• Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with occasional overtime
• Temp-to-hire
• $18.00 p/h
• Excellent Opportunity with a local manufacturer of custom plastic fabricated equipment

Duties :

• Responsible for IPQA and final quality control of machined and fabricated components to ensure they meet all customer requirements
• Gathering QC data for creating and submitting FAI’s
• Maintaining company compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system
• Working with employees, vendors, and customers via phone, email, and automated websites
• Reading, understanding, and fulfilling all customer packaging requirements upon final QC approval
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous quality assurance experience is required 
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and precise measuring equipment
• Knowledge of fluid processing products such as tubing, pipe, valves, and fittings is preferred
• Knowledge of precision measuring devices such as CMM, height gauge, profilometer, calipers, etc.
• Able to work well with customers, suppliers, and other staff members
• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with Windows, all Microsoft Suite products
• Knowledge of SolidWorks and QuickBooks is a plus, not required
• Knowledge of GD&T is a plus
• A valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
