If you’re qualified and ready for a rewarding challenge, the Department of Environmental Services, Collection Systems Maintenance Division, Pump Station/Force Main Branch, is looking for four (4) talented Wastewater Pumping Plant Operators to join the team!What You Will Do: Operate sewage pumping stations and auxiliary equipment, including high/low voltage systems and internal combustion engines.Ensure smooth operation and safety, performing inspections, repairs, and adjustments.Collaborate with skilled workers on major overhauls and repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment.Perform other duties of the position.Potential Job Sites: Honolulu - Hart Street Wastewater Pump StationEwa - Honouliuuli Waste Water Treatment PlantSpecial Working Conditions: Solo Shifts: Work independently during nights, holidays, and weekends.
