Position Overview:

The Podiatrist will provide foot health assessments, treatments, and preventive care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.)
• Licensure: Active NYS Podiatry License
• Experience: SNF/geriatric podiatry (preferred)
• Technical Skills:
  • Diabetic foot ulcer management
  • Orthotic and footwear recommendation
• Soft Skills: Interdisciplinary coordination, patient education

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat foot conditions and infections.
• Provide orthotic and footwear recommendations.
• Collaborate with physicians for complex cases.
• Provide two annual in-service trainings.
