We are looking for a Plant Sanitation Worker to support the manufacturing team. TUMS BUILDING DOWNTOWN WITH FREE EMPLOYEE PARKING ***$18 PER HOUR*** NIGHT SHIFT:
- Wednesday - Friday 6:00 pm to 6:30 am
- 10% shift differential for hours worked
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Perform general cleaning in the plant as assigned.
- Maintain and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Occasional maintenance and operation of facility equipment.
- Operate all types of cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, pneumatic tools, pressure washer and buffer.
- Follow SOP's, change control / validation processes, and adhere to established cleaning programs for GMP compliance
- Perform other duties to support the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of the Plant operations.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
- Identify and report any potential safety concerns or hazards.
- Respond to internal customer needs and/or requests professionally, effectively, and efficiently.
- Comply with all Safety, EHS Standards, State and FDA regulations and OSHA regulations.
- Comply with all local and corporate policies and procedures.
Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: - High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a production, industrial and/or GMP environment
Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Must possess basic math skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment
- Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift more than 25 lbs.
- Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills
- Team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments
- Able to function productively with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented
