We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations across the region. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, are comfortable with heavy lifting, and are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a box truck or other company-provided vehicles to transport goods to and from designated locations.
- Load and unload products from our warehouse to ensure accurate and efficient delivery.
- Utilize a pallet jack, as needed, to manage heavy loads and navigate tight spaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery area, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Manage delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery and any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
-Must be able to pass a background check and an initial drug screen, with random drug screens done per D.O.T. regulation.
Skills :
- Experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a related field.
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a box truck or other company-provided vehicles.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 150Lbs, as well as navigate tight spaces.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting and load unloading techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes and schedules effectively.
