Title: Nutanix Admin ( contract )

Location: Abbott Park IL 60064

Mandatory Skillset - Nutanix

Brief Summary about the Role:

Need Nutanix HCI technology Admin profile, where S/he will be responsible for doing the day to day administrative tasks of Nutanix infrastructure, this needs a comprehensive knowledge on Nutanix Prism, the central admin platform. Engage in all the requirements of any enhancement, use case or any Nutanix Cloud Cluster (NC2) platform related activities.

Knowledge on VMware platform & Wintel is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Some key responsibilities are

1. Infrastructure Management & Technical Support :
   • Provide ongoing technical support for Nutanix environments.
   • Address hardware and software issues reported by users.
   • Administer and manage Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) systems.
   • Ensure optimal performance and uptime of the infrastructure.
2. Configuration and Deployment :
   • Configure and deploy Nutanix hardware and software components.
   • Set up virtual machines and storage solutions.
3. Monitoring and Maintenance :
   • Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance.
   • Perform troubleshooting to resolve issues proactively.
4. Log Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) :
   • Analyze logs to identify issues.
   • Perform RCA to prevent future occurrences.
5. Documentation :
   • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
