Reporting to the Director of Maternal–Child Health and partnering closely with Labor & Delivery, Lactation Services, NICU, Social Work, Case Management, Pharmacy, Anesthesiology, Obstetric Hospitalists, Midwives, and Pediatrics, the Nurse Supervisor of Postpartum Maternity Unit will guide daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and throughput while elevating quality metrics, patient experience, and regulatory readiness; supported by friendly postpartum and Mother–Baby nurses within a diverse, inclusive interprofessional team, the Nurse Supervisor of Postpartum Maternity Unit will mentor RNs, preceptors, and charge nurses, lead clinical education and performance improvement, and drive excellence in couplet care, lactation support, and OB safety bundles.
