This role is for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care to neonates in a fast-paced environment. The RN will perform patient assessments, administer medications, participate in treatment planning, and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team. A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant setting is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
- Performing comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitoring vital signs, and other clinical indicators.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, other nurses, and support staff.
- Responding to emergencies and providing critical care as needed.
- Educating parents and families about their infant's condition and care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a neonatal or intensive care setting.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with neonatal specific equipment and procedures.
- Advanced certifications in neonatal nursing (e.g., NRP, NANN).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
