Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and licensed Executive Loan Officer with DRE and NMLS certifications to join our team. As an Executive Loan Officer, you will represent our mortgage brokerage firm and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. Your deep understanding of loan programs, guidelines, mortgage documents, and the home buying process will enable you to guide clients through the mortgage journey, helping them achieve their financial goals.
In this role, you will have a base salary and also receive bonuses for successfully closing loans. We will provide mortgage leads through our own marketing channels and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
Advising and educating clients on the home-buying or refinancing process, as well as providing guidance on managing their mortgages effectively.
Consulting with clients to analyze their financial situations and determine the most suitable loan product to help them achieve their goals.
Evaluating client financial status, including credit, employment, income, assets, and property, to ensure they meet the necessary qualifications for financing.
Assisting clients throughout the entire loan process, from application to closing, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Building and nurturing relationships with mortgage referral sources, showcasing the value of working with our company.
Delivering exceptional client service to every referral source and client, maintaining our reputation as an industry leader.
Staying up-to-date with mortgage product offerings, qualifying parameters, and process changes.
Representing our brand in the community, participating in civic and community functions to support business development initiatives and generate leads for the branch.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with real estate agents, investment advisors, accountants, professionals, friends, family, and past clients to promote our brand and assist homebuyers and homeowners in obtaining real estate financing aligned with their personal and financial objectives.
Qualifications:
NMLS License
DRE License
Bilingual in Spanish
Previous experience in finance, banking, or related fields
Familiarity with financial and lending practices
Ability to establish rapport with clients
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation:
We offer a competitive compensation package. As a part-time employee, you will receive a W-2 salary of $35.00 per hour, based on 20 hours per week. Additionally, you will be eligible for bonuses for closed loans generated through our marketing efforts. The Executive Loan Officer also has the opportunity to network and market for their own loans, with a 60% split of the origination fee for loans exclusively brought in. After the first 90 days, there is potential for renegotiating a higher percentage split.
