Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics for grades 6–8, including pre-algebra and algebra concepts
- Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate math curriculum aligned with Waldorf-inspired principles
- Integrate hands-on activities, real-world problem solving, and creative approaches to mathematical thinking
- Collaborate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and school community events
- Support students’ academic confidence as well as social and emotional growth through mentorship
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience teaching middle school students
- Familiarity with Waldorf education or openness to learning and professional growth
- Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and ability to work collaboratively
