Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics for grades 6–8, including pre-algebra and algebra concepts
• Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate math curriculum aligned with Waldorf-inspired principles
• Integrate hands-on activities, real-world problem solving, and creative approaches to mathematical thinking
• Collaborate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and school community events
• Support students’ academic confidence as well as social and emotional growth through mentorship

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience teaching middle school students
• Familiarity with Waldorf education or openness to learning and professional growth
• Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and ability to work collaboratively
