Job Description

• Conduct microbiological analyses on a variety of microbial species to support internal research studies.
• Develop and refine protocols for Colony Forming Unit (CFU) quantitation and other microbiological techniques.
• Perform viability and stability assays following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Process diverse sample types for microbial recovery and cultivation across multiple media types.
• Prepare, analyze, and communicate experimental data and findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain lab inventory, perform equipment calibration, and ensure laboratory cleanliness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners as needed.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in microbial culturing, aseptic techniques, and microbial quantification methods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols accurately.
• Effective written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Competence in operating and troubleshooting laboratory instruments.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology , Molecular Biology, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Shift: 08:00 AM
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced research environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and data integrity.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary : $29.00 to $37.00 per hour based on qualifications.
