Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Writing, reading, and leading assigned CAPEX projects.
  • Controlling resources, financial aspects, and projects.
  • Cascading and demonstrating company values, group policies, and procedures.
  • Identifying and implementing a proactive maintenance strategy.
  • Ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, and standards by all department workers and subcontractors.
  • Standardizing work methods through Procedures and Standardized Work Instructions.
  • Creating and executing the preventive maintenance plan for buildings, installations, and equipment.
  • Conducting regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
  • Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
  • Tracking expenses and overseeing the maintenance budget.
  • Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Managing budgets and approving expenses.
  • Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment.
  • Overseeing equipment safety stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
  • Forecasting, ordering, and negotiating prices for spare parts inventory.
  • Hiring and managing subcontractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work.
  • Implementing and managing maintenance KPIs (MTBF, Preventive Maintenance plan execution, OEE ratio) and financial KPIs (Adherence to budget, cost reduction programs).
  • Implementing and maintaining the 5S program in the subordinate area.
  • Handling emergencies and creating troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Acting as a change agent to instill a Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement culture.
  • Looking for new ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Managing technical documentation of buildings, installations, and equipment according to Quality Management System standards.
  • Managing and processing maintenance SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests).
  • Overseeing recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure optimum quality and level of resources for projected workloads, schedules, and projects.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a technical field or qualified by experience within the relevant sector.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience combined with team leadership/management experience.
  • CMMS knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of equipment in use and understanding of maintenance processes and techniques.
  • Familiarity with principles of asset management, best practices on the shop floor, and risk management.
