Join Central Paper as a Flexible Delivery Driver and become a key part of a reliable, well-organized delivery operation. This position offers consistent daily routes with built-in flexibility to support the team when needed—whether by covering for another driver or assisting with overflow deliveries.

You’ll enjoy a predictable schedule with varied driving experiences across familiar routes, operating well-maintained vehicles that range from an economy van to a Class B CDL straight truck, depending on the day’s delivery needs. Our delivery areas typically include northern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and the Portland, Maine region.
**Does require 4:30PM - 9PM Transfer Driver Fill-Ins on the rare occasion.

Job Summary

• Company Driver (W2, Solo)
• Box Delivery
• Semi local
• $700 - $1,200 total weekly avg. pay
• $18 - $25 per hour
• 600 - 1,200 avg. miles per week
• 100% Driver Load/Unload
• No slip seating

Home Time

• 5 days on, 2 days off
• Home every weekend

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Stacking and sorting delivered cargo.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment.
• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Orientation Details

• Orientation is not paid for
• Does not cover accommodation
• Drivers get their own room
• No meals are included
• Does not cover any travel expenses

Hiring Requirements

• Class B license without any of the following restrictions: (G) Night Driving or (K) Intrastate Only
• 6 months Commercial Driving experience
