Private family on the Upper East Side is looking hire an experienced Live-out Executive Housekeeper / Light Cook for their 6-floor townhouse. Ideally, the candidate will spend their time doing detailed house cleaning, laundry and some cooking for dinner when needed. No fancy cooking, simple meals.
Must be available to live-in and work in the Hamptons in the summer months. Mon – Sat.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Cleans furnishings, floors, windows, and lavatories using vacuum cleaner, mops, brooms, cloths, and cleaning solutions.
2. Changes linens and removes and hangs draperies.
3. Washes dishes and cleans the kitchen, cooking utensils, and silverware.
4. Sorts clothing and other articles, loads washing machine, and irons and folds dried items.
5. Answers telephone and doorbell
6. Keep the Basement and the Gym level clean and tidy at all times
7. Occasionally, plans menus and cooks and serves meals and refreshments according to employer’s instruction.
8. Occasionally, purchases or orders foodstuffs and household supplies and records expenditures.
9. Occasionally oversees activities of children and may pick up the children
