Qualifications:

Must Possess following certifications and keep all certifications current:
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid certification
Daytime/evening availability a must
Must be 15 year of age or older
Ability to demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with members, staff and supervisors
Have an outgoing, friendly approach that will lead and motivate members
Ability to maintain a level of physical and mental readiness at all times.
Weekend availability a must
Must attach Lifeguard Certificate to application
