Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Lead carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate a wide range of construction and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

  • Lead and supervise construction and restoration projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project workflows

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution

  • Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for framing, drywall installation, rebar placement, masonry work, and roofing

  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards

  • Conduct quality inspections on-site to verify craftsmanship

  • Supervise the installation of fixtures, caulking, metal stud framing, electrical wiring, plumbing systems, and electrical experience tasks

  • Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports and safety logs

Skills

  • Extensive experience in construction estimating and project planning

  • Proficiency in carpentry disciplines: trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking and cabinetry installation

  • Skilled in techniques including concrete forming and rebar installation

  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for diverse construction projects

  • Expertise in roofing systems-shingles, metal roofing-and siding applications

  • Experience in remodeling projects across various sectors such as commercial or residential buildings.

  • Familiarity

  • Competence in fixture installation-doors, cabinets-and finishing touches like painting or caulking

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during construction or restoration activities

  • Experience working on construction sites with strict adherence to safety

Job Type: Full-time

$30 - $35 / hr
