Job Title: Junior java developer

Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid - Local to Metro Atlanta)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Design, code, test, modify, install, and debug software applications integrating with Java-based systems.
• Research and analyze system issues individually or with a team; propose solutions and create supporting documentation.
• Provide timely communication and support to business users on inquiries.
• Translate business requirements into development tasks for secure, maintainable code.
• Stay current with and learn new technologies as part of DOR's modernization initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems Management.
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience with:
  • Java, JavaScript, J2SE, J2EE, Struts, and Spring frameworks.
• Minimum 2 years of web development experience with:
  • Tomcat (servlet container), XML, XSL Stylesheets, Web Services, Oracle databases, and SSL Certificates.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Hands-on experience with development tools such as Eclipse, BIRT Reports, TOAD, SQL Developer, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative and a proactive mindset.
