Overview:

Industrial Appliance Service Technician Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

As a CSC Industrial Appliance Service Tech, you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting, preventative maintenance & repair on our commercial Washer/Dryer appliances to your assigned service area. Your days will start and finish at home with the company vehicle & gas card provided for you!

Job Duties:

• Troubleshooting mechanical, electronical, and technological repairs on commercial laundry equipment (washing machines/dryers, and air vending machines).
• Proactively managing maintenance requirements to keep machines working reliably, reducing the need for future service calls.
• Maintain stock of parts in your company vehicle so you’re always prepared to provide a quick solution
• Handling daily/weekly service tasks utilizing route and dispatch software tools
• Instruct customers and/or clients how to operate appliances and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Clean & Test equipment to make sure it’s fully functioning before you leave.
• Promptly respond to inquiries and complaints from customers
• Keeping delivery locations clean and safe - a quick yet important part of our Best-in-Class service.

What we’re looking for:

• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with industrial size components (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, schematics, blueprint reading)
• Experience with large power tools preferred
• Basic Plumbing and/or electrical knowledge preferred (i.e. blue print reading, schematics)
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information in 1-on-1s, small group situations to customers and other employees
• Promptly respond to inquiries or complaints from customers
• Specific physical demands may vary based on assigned geography or equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (Both weather & non-weather related.
