Job Title: Imaging Technician

Location: Lynchburg, VA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Compensation: $22/hr (Non-exempt, Full-time, Contract)

Position Summary:
System One is seeking an Imaging Technician to support our client onsite in Lynchburg, VA. The Imaging Technician will play a crucial role in the documentation and processing of computer orders and related peripherals. In this position, you will be responsible for imaging computers, performing data transfers, installing software, and shipping items. You will work under general supervision, utilizing your experience and judgment to achieve goals while ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure images, test functionality, troubleshoot, and deploy personal computers (PCs).
• Install software applications specific to each PC order, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Follow documented procedures to process incoming orders and maintain both physical and electronic inventory accuracy.
• Actively contribute to creating a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to all applicable safety and health regulations.
• Perform a variety of tasks that may require creativity and independent problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Entry-level knowledge of PC hardware and software.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform software installation procedures accurately.
• Strong ability to work independently and efficiently without immediate supervision.
• Familiarity with the company’s safety and health policies and programs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain in a stationary position, walk, kneel, and crouch as needed.
