Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling, located in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to join our award-winning team. $1,500 Tool Allowance for Entry Level Employees or $5,000 sign on bonus for 2 Years of Experience!

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems in client homes
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, including error codes
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers in an understandable manner
• Participate in an on call rotation as required, with coverage ending at 8pm.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Uphold company standards for customer service and satisfaction
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work culture

Qualifications

• Understanding of the operation of various residential HVAC systems
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in layman's terms
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to work
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
•  Must be able to pass a Background, Driving, & Drug Screening

Compensation

$38,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience, with uncapped incentives and spiffs.
