PLEASE READ ALL FIRST! I am a single father, raised my children alone, but they are all adult and on their own now. I am living near Buffalo, New York (NOT near NY City). If you live overseas it will be hard to get you a VISA unless you come from a country that has an easy system, so unless you can get a VISA I cannot hire you, I am sorry. We have previously had a full time live-in nanny and au-pair but now my children are older and living on their own. This would be great for a student. This is really only part time light housekeeping and house sitting when I sometimes have to travel for work. I am semi-retired no,but even when I am home from work I have a lot of stuff to do, and so housekeeping help is my primary need, as well as house sitting when I need to travel. The ideal person would be an aupair who has finished 2 years program who wants to remain in USA and/or student who wants to change VISA and continue long-term in this country I don't like to think of this as a 'job'. You are encouraged to be imaginative and enjoy yourself - you will have a lot of free time. I spend some of my time in Florida, and the other half near Buffalo, NY. (Which is also near Niagara Falls, Canada, and 1.5 hour drive from Toronto, Canada.) I am NOT near New York, it's a big state) it is almost 8 hours drive there. (hour by plane but not expensive $99) It's basically some light housekeeping in exchange for a free place to live, some spending money, and a lot of free time for yourself
