Job Description

The General Francis Marion Hotel in Marion, VA is looking for part-time housekeeper to join our team. We are located on 107 East Main St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

Position Details:

• Hours: 20–30 hours per week
• Pay: Starting at $14/hour
• Schedule:   Weekends required

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop and vacuum floors
• Routine bathroom cleaning
• Make beds
• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery as needed
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated area
• Maintain health and sanitary requirements
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry
• Other cleaning duties as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedure
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under little supervision
• Ability to pass a background check

Requirements:

• Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
