**What You Will Do** **:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to join our Health Data Science team. This role will focus on claims analytics, data integration and pipelining, and advanced statistical modeling for a variety of federal healthcare programs. The role will be hands on in writing software and analyzing reports using healthcare data such as ICD-10, DRG, and CPT code sets.
**What You Will Need** **:**
+ US Citizenship Required
+ Bachelor's degree is required
+ Minimum THREE (3) years experience with health data standards and commercial datasets, such as ICD-10, DRG, CPT, claims, encounters, risk scoring, and HEDIS measures
+ Minimum THREE (3) years experience in developing analytics using Python or R, working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), and creating data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or an equivalent technology.
**What Would Be Nice To Have** **:**
+ Experience with business intelligence tools for data visualizations such as Power BI or Amazon QuickSight
+ Experience in enterprise-scale data product development, including cloud platforms, Palantir Foundry, Spark, big data ML systems, advanced analytics, and generative AI
+ Experience using collaboration and development tools such as Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Git, and Jenkins
+ Experience in consulting or other client facing roles.
+ Strong understanding of healthcare systems, including payment cycles, payment integrity, and payment accuracy, as well as public health initiatives in surveillance and informatics
+ Advanced Degree (i.e., M.S./M.A.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or similar quantitative discipline.
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
