Job Description

DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena, CA, is looking to hire a Hardware Development Engineer. You will join a multi-disciplinary team of experimental and theoretical physicists, materials scientists, and hardware and software engineers working at the forefront of quantum computing. We are looking for candidates who exemplify strong engineering principles, resourcefulness, a bias for action, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Working effectively within a team environment is essential. A robust background in physics or engineering is required. Practical laboratory experience and a thorough understanding of experimental techniques and instrumentation are also necessary.
