Essential Job Functions:

Manually adds dry sugar to blending tank to make blends.
Loads product to correct trailer and at correct weight; documents and verifies all paperwork and seal numbers.
Maintains all related paperwork.
Inspects trailers before loading.
Manages liquid storage tanks.
Sanitizes blend tanks on a bi-weekly basis.
Scales and moves trailers when needed.
Cleans work area.
Any other duties as requested, directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor.
Safety training and certifications as required.

Education and Experience (Licenses and Certifications):

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in food production.
Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines.
Ability to understand and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form as they pertain to production.
Basic reading, writing, mathematical abilities
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions.

Essential Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods standing and walking, using tools and performing repetitive actions.
Must be able to lift 100lbs at a time.
Visual acuity to read instructions and operate machines.
A separate, complete document of physical demands is attached.

Working Hours:

Standard working hours for 2nd shift are: 3pm – 11pm Monday through Friday and as necessary to complete the requirements of the position.
Overtime may be required, and hours are subject to change based on company needs.
Employees are required to clock in 10 minutes before the beginning of the shift.
