Job Description

We are seeking a driven and personable Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in event planning, brand promotion, and community engagement. As an Event Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in executing exciting, mission-driven events that connect our organization with local communities. You will support event setup, promote our brand, and build lasting relationships with attendees and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of live events.
  • Promote the MGN Foundation’s mission and values to event attendees.
  • Engage with the public to drive interaction and deliver a positive event experience.
  • Coordinate with vendors, local businesses, and influencers to ensure event success.
  • Distribute marketing materials and respond to attendee inquiries.
  • Gather event feedback and contribute ideas for future improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • No prior professional experience needed; internships or volunteer roles are beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and confident in engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for community outreach, events, and brand marketing.
