Job Description

Our client, an ecommerce company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated eCommerce System Integration Manager to lead the seamless integration of various platforms and systems that power their growing online business.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust integrations between our internal platform and our ecommerce partners, like ERP systems, CRM, payment gateways, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and other key business applications. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and a cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute the overall eCommerce system integration strategy, aligning with business objectives and IT architecture. Identify integration needs, assess feasibility, and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end integration projects, including defining scope, developing project plans, allocating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Technical Design and Implementation: Collaborate with internal teams (eCommerce, IT, Marketing, Operations) and external vendors to design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions. This includes API integrations, data mapping, and workflow automation.
  • System Maintenance and Support: Monitor and maintain existing integrations, troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, and ensure data integrity and system stability. Implement proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with integration platform providers, SaaS vendors, and implementation partners. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes, configurations, and data flows.
  • Data Governance: Collaborate with relevant teams to establish and enforce data governance policies and ensure data consistency across integrated systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to optimize integration performance, improve data flow efficiency, and enhance system scalability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their needs and ensure successful integration outcomes.
  • Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in eCommerce integration, APIs, and related areas.

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of experience in managing and implementing system integrations, with a strong focus on eCommerce environments.
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms and their integration capabilities.
  • Proven experience integrating eCommerce platforms with ERP systems, CRM, payment gateways, and other relevant business applications.
  • Strong knowledge of API technologies, data formats, and integration tools and platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills1 with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data mapping, data transformation, and data validation processes.
  • Understanding of data security and compliance best practices.
