Job Title: Security Guard (Must be a Licensed Security Guard) (Can assist with attaining Guard Card if Interested)

Job Summary:
Priority One Security (formerly Pride Security) is a growing security firm in the greater Phoenix/Northern Arizona area. We are seeking reliable and experienced Security Guards to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in security services and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

We provide a wide range of security solutions to our clients, including site security, patrol services, healthcare security, camera recording, and event management.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of unauthorized activity.
• Enforce rules and regulations, including access control and parking.
• Provide customer service and respond to inquiries from clients and visitors.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, including writing detailed reports and utilizing our guard accountability software, Vision Insites.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Remain alert and vigilant at all times, adhering to company protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Arizona security guard card. (or willing to attain one immediately).
• Security experience preferred but not needed.
• Proven ability to work independently, use critical thinking, but also be part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays (NO EXCEPTIONS).
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods if needed and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Must have own reliable vehicle for mobile patrolling.
• Basic first aid and CPR training (or willingness to obtain).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security-related certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, AED, Security Management, ICS).
• Experience with security software and surveillance systems (Vision Insites, Workforce, Silvertrac, etc).
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
