This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer in India.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and scalable data warehouses to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and performant data solutions. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud platforms, ETL/ELT processes, and modern data tools to ensure seamless integration, data governance, and compliance. You will optimize data models for analytics and reporting, troubleshoot complex data issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture. Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouses for analytics and reporting
• Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake or similar platforms
• Implement ETL/ELT processes using Python and modern data tools
• Manage data solutions on AWS, including S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda
• Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and compliance across systems
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to meet analytical requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, following best practices for security and governance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in building and maintaining data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
• Solid experience with SQL and data modeling concepts
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks, data warehousing, and cloud services (AWS)
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication
• Preferred: experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum environments
