Key Responsibilities Of The Controller - Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure the integrity of financial statements.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the executive team, providing key insights into financial performance.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, working closely with department heads to align financial resources with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Manage and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.
- As the Controller, you will drive the implementation of new financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications For The Controller Role - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and best practices in financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new financial systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement.
