Job Description

Job Summary: The Breakfast Server at Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Aksarben Village is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests during breakfast hours. This individual will ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience for guests while representing the high standards and reputation of our hotel. The Breakfast Server will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure all breakfast items are delivered promptly and accurately to guests. Compensation & Benefits: This is a part-time, position in the hospitality/restaurant industry. Rate of pay for this position ranges from $13 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly. The employee will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, and employee discounts at Hilton properties worldwide. Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating
• Provide accurate and prompt food and beverage service
• Memorize and recommend menu offerings, including daily specials
• Take orders and input them accurately into the POS system
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered promptly
• Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes meet highest standards
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of breakfast offerings and be able to make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions
• Continuously provide exceptional service and go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations
• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain proper food handling and sanitation practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu items and drink preparation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic math and computer skills
• Must pass a background check and drug test
