We are excited to announce the opening of our new Cafe at The Valencia Cay Clubhouse; OUR – Kitchen | Bar | Events


The clubhouse offers indoor and patio seating as well as poolside service for the residents enjoyment.


Our community has a fun and friendly atmosphere, making it a desirable place to work. We expect lively social events which we know will keep the workplace fun and exciting.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about food and delivering exceptional customer service. We want our team to have a fun and friendly attitude that will produce a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for all the community members. We believe that this work environment has all the benefits, if not more, than a typical Cafe. Since we are in a private community, we plan to have ideal work hours and consistent repeat customers. Salary: Starting at $18.00 and up per hour.

* Prepare Breakfast/brunch Menu Items and specials consistently
* Responsible for keeping a clean work area
* Assists KM with taking inventory

* fill in as line cook if needed on rare occasion

Line Cook is generally offered as full time or part time restaurant job.

Prior experience is highly desirable in one of the following roles and brands: line cook, prep cook, grill cook, fry cook, chef, restaurant crew member, restaurant team member or other part time BOH restaurant jobs at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, Yard House, Tap 42, Lazy Dog, Cheesecake Factory, TGI Fridays, Longhorn, True Food Kitchen, Maggiano's, Chick-fil-A.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Cook Requirements/ Responsibilities:

* Culinary degree or fantastic work experience
* 2 years’ experience working in a professional kitchen
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Passion for the business
* An understanding of health and safety and food safety regulations (Serve Safe)
* High energy
* Willing to learn
