About the JobGeneral Duties & Responsibilities
· Greet every guest warmly and professionally as they enter.
· Take orders accurately using the POS system.
· Answer guest questions about the menu, modifications, and specials.
· Suggest add-ons or upsells when appropriate (drinks, pastries, combos, etc.).
· Ensure correct bagging, labeling, and handing off orders.
· Operate the registers and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments.
· Maintain accuracy in cash drawer and follow opening/closing cash procedures.
· Issue receipts, refunds, or correct errors following company guidelines.
· Protect guest payment information and follow security protocols
· Keep counters, POS stations, and guest waiting areas clean and organized.
· Restock napkins, utensils, condiments, and other guest-facing items.
· Maintain cleanliness of pastry displays, beverage stations, and grab-and-go areas.
· Perform light dining area cleaning as needed (wiping tables, organizing pickup shelves).
· Communicate with kitchen and expo about order modifications or allergies.
· Coordinate with the team to ensure fast and accurate service during rushes.
· Notify the manager of low stock, equipment issues, or guest concerns.
· Assist with training new cashiers or FOH employees as needed.
· Help package orders for pickup and delivery platforms.
· Assist with labeling, bagging, and staging items during peak periods.
· Follow all company policies and procedures, including uniform standards
General Skills & Requirements
· Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
· Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
· Basic math and cash-handling skills.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
